Accessibility Statement

We want everyone preparing for the MRCOG to be able to use Pinard, including people who use assistive technology. This statement covers the website at pinardapp.com.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

• The site works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
• Text and controls meet the WCAG contrast ratios, in both the light and dark themes.
• Pages use headings, landmarks and labels that screen readers can follow.
• Animation is reduced or switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content.
• We test pages with automated accessibility tools (axe-core and Lighthouse) and by hand.

• Some question figures, such as charts and traces, may not yet have a full text description.
• Extended matching questions have long option lists, which can take time to navigate with a screen reader.
• Pages hosted by Stripe for payment follow Stripe's own accessibility standards.
